heidi + brian | spring lake wedding

We are excited to share Heidi and Brian’s lovely wedding last fall! Having to cancel their original plans for a large wedding in July, they opted to go with a small guest list of 50 in their backyard. It was the most gorgeous October day for these two and no one deserved it more!

One of my favorite details of the day is the ceremony set up. Obviously the arbor and flowers and even the chairs were beautiful but just look at the leaves on the trees that were the backdrop. Simply stunning! Heidi’s gown is another favorite … doesn’t she look amazing? It was truly a wonderful day!

Each and every detail was captured perfectly by the amazing Silver Gallery Photography. Thank you Megan … you are a gem!

Wishing Heidi and Brian years of happines!

carolyn + ethan | spring lake country club

We are excited to share Carolyn and Ethan’s lovely wedding at Spring Lake Country Club last fall! Beautiful location, sweet couple, and the most kind (and fun!) guests we have ever spent time with … it doesn’t get better than that in the middle of a pandemic!

Some of our favorite details are the blush pink color palette, the bride’s gown, the stunning flowers, and their stunning ruffle wedding cake. Each and every detail was captured perfectly by Elisabeth Marie Photography.

Oh and be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the beautiful video from Inspiration Video. Enjoy!

sam + austin | the gathering barn

I am very excited to share images with you of Sam and Austin’s wedding at The Gathering Barn! I am not even sure where to begin describing all the beauty, joy, and fun of this day so I will simply start with saying that the bride’s mother is one of my best friends in the entire world so it was very special!

All the ladies started their day by getting ready in the bridal suite at the barn. Sam’s gown from Spring Sweet was simply gorgeous and fit her personality and style spot on. With her floral crown, mixed greenery bouquet, and boho inspired accessories, she was stunning! For her bridesmaids, Sam opted for mismatched dresses in a beautiful silvery sage color from Show Me Your Mumu. We love the mismatch look but it can sometimes be tricky to pull it off. Sam and her girls did it perfectly though, don’t you think?!

The ceremony took place in front of the charming gazebo on the property and was officiated by Sam’s brother Drew and his girlfriend Jordan. I really love when couples choose a family member or a friend to officiate … in this case it was both. It makes it much more personal and the feelings definitely run deeper. With Drew’s humor and Jordan’s heartfelt words, it was not only personal, it was perfect! (Tissues were needed for sure!)

For the reception, the decor vibe was rustic meets boho. The reception took place in the barn; which is fantastic. We decorated farm tables with vases full of mixed greenery, white napkins with a sprig of rosemary to accent, greenery garland down the center, and lots of candlelight. The tablescapes were exactly (and maybe more!) what everyone hoped they would be. Sam and Austin are not big cake fans but they do love donuts and pie, so that is exactly what they had for dessert. (There is NO rule saying you have to have cake! Be YOU … serve your favorite dessert no matter what it is!) A lovely assortment was displayed on the dessert table with the donut board (which was handmade by Sam’s dad!!) as the centerpiece. We love a good dessert table and this was one of our favorites for sure! (I mean Krispy Kreme … c’mon!)

So we had the most amazing couple, a fantastic venue, a rock star MOB, and awesome decor …. we just had to make sure we had the best team in place to make it flawless. Rachel took the lead on day-of to manage the event so that I could be a guest (yes that happens sometimes!) and you know her, she killed it! We brought in Yon from Party in a Box as the DJ and with these two taking care of things, it was the literally the best party I am sure that barn has ever een! Beechwood Catering wow-ed with the food as well. Delicious right down to the dinner rolls … which are my favorite part! 🙂 In addition to all this vendor fabulous-ness, we had the very talented Chase Loreto there to capture every single moment and as you will see from these amazing photos, his genius did not fail him! It was a dream team for sure.

Thank you Sam and Austin for trusting us to help you plan your big day! We could not have been more proud to be a part of it. XO
